Who We Are
Sumwe Orphanage Foundation Africa is a Non-Government Uganda Charity Organization based in Kampala. The organization started in 2006 as a Community Outreach to support vulnerable children, orphans, widows and families in need.
We started extending help to needy children, youth and widows who were eager to study and work for a better life. This moment intensified when we found that there were many such underprivileged children and widows who needed help with food, shelter and education. Our team expanded and we spread out in different regions to make sure we cover all possible areas and help as many children as possible.

Our mission is to provide care, education, food, shelter, guidance, and emotional support to children, youth, widows and people with disabilities so they can grow with dignity and hope for a better future.
Our Vision
A world where every child, young person, widow, and person with a disability lives with dignity, opportunity, and hope, empowered to reach their full potential and contribute positively to their communities.
